ABOUT STUDIO FRAZAR

For more than 25 years, Studio Frazar has created refined and livable interiors for some of the finest homes across the country. Based in New York City and Sag Harbor, many of our spaces articulate a strong nod to contemporary art collection– honoring the individuality of expression, a sense of place, and the many faceted lives of our clients. From Manhattan townhouses and lofts to sprawling beach houses, from ultra modern aesthetic to traditional, we strike the perfect balance of warmth, modernity, and legacy.

Known as passionate collaborators, we take every opportunity to elevate the design process to new echelons of art and creativity. With our origins in architecture, Studio Frazar is deeply integrated into our projects from the earliest stages, and stands firmly as an interior design and decoration team to our fellow community of architects. Studio Frazar has been featured in the New York Times, Architecture Record, Luxe Magazine, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, W Magazine, Interior Design, and has appeared in numerous design books.

LISA FRAZAR

As the principal of Studio Frazar, Lisa began her career with such revered Manhattan firms as Thierry Despont, Robert A.M. Stern, Tsao & MvcKowan Architects, Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill, and Victoria Hagan. Throughout more than a decade of experience in corporate architecture, she competed illustrious large-scale projects including The WOrld of Joyce Retail Center (Taipei, China), the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYC), Swiss Bank (Stanford, CT), Ziff Brothers Investments (NYC), Disney’s Boardwalk Hotel & Conference Center (Orlando, FL), and the U.S. Embassy in Budapest (Hungary). Informed by her two consecutive Bachelor’s degrees in Fine Arts in Photography at The University of Texas, and Environmental Design at Parsons School of Design, Lisa opened the doors to Studio Frazar in 1998. A native Texan, Lisa’s first loves are that of adventure and art– as likely to lead to the wilds of Patagonia for a fly fishing expedition as a road trip to Marfa in search of creative inspiration.
